Alex Z. Reynaud is a Mexico City-based cinematographer A graduate with honors from Universidad Iberoamericana, he has worked across films, TV series, commercials, music videos, and documentaries, including María Félix: La Doña and La divina tragedia. His projects span Mexico, the U.S., Europe, and South America.

Alex worked on a film project about a well-known Mexican rock band at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City, during an outdoor event attended by 65,000 people. Over two days of filming, camera operators moved around the stadium while Alex coordinated framing and camera positions. Solidcom C1 Pro headsets kept the crew connected across the venue. With the Pyro 5, Alex sent his camera feed to the director, who could monitor his framing and request specific shots or camera movements.

Clear Communication in a Loud Environment
“It’s way better to use Hollyland headsets instead of regular radios in this environment.” Xavier Ibarrola, Camera Operator
With 65,000 people at the concert, the crew needed to hear instructions clearly over the crowd noise. Hollyland headsets helped them stay in communication throughout the event.
Staying Connected Across the Stadium
“I love that I can hear all your instructions crystal clear, even though there are 65,000 people shouting all around us during the concert.” Eduardo Andaluz, Camera Operator
Camera operators moved around the stadium during the shoot. Clear communication helped them stay connected with the crew and coordinate camera positions and shots.
Comfortable Headsets for the Crew
“I am so happy that you brought the Hollyland headsets so that I won’t end up having my ears damaged because of the regular radios.” Ernesto Rosas Pineda, Camera Operator
The Solidcom C1 features a lightweight design and an over-ear leather cushion for a secure, comfortable fit. Foam on-ear cushions are also included for those who prefer a different wearing style.
Camera Monitoring and Coordination
“It makes it extremely easy to communicate with each other during the concert. I can give proper instructions to all the camera operators and see the cinematographer’s frame at all times.” Paco Ibarra, Director
The lightweight Solidcom C1 Pro headset is designed for extended wear. It also allowed Paco to communicate with the camera crew and monitor the cinematographer’s frame throughout the concert.

With Hollyland headsets and the Pyro 5, Alex and his crew could stay connected across a large, crowded stadium. The headsets helped camera operators hear instructions and coordinate their positions, while the Pyro 5 let the director monitor Alex’s camera feed. Stable communication and video transmission helped the crew keep track of framing and camera movements throughout the shoot.
