Date: Nov 17 / Location: Quezon City, Philippines / Event: Aputure Storm Launch
Global lighting leader Aputure raised the bar for professional film production in the Philippines with the launch of its flagship STORM Series and the upgraded NOVA II lighting systems. The new lineup was unveiled during an immersive industry event in Quezon City on November 18, 2025, showcasing advanced lighting innovations designed to elevate filmmaking standards while strengthening support for the local creative community. The event was also proudly supported by Hollyland Technology, reinforcing collaboration among leading brands that empower filmmakers and content creators.
Dubbed “The STORM Has Come,” the launch gathered some of the country’s most respected cinematographers, including Le Briones-Meily, Neil Daza, and Noel Tehankee, alongside key Aputure representatives such as Yssa Valdes, Regional Brand Developer for the Philippines, and Marco Lazaro, Community and Social Lead for Asia-Pacific. More than a product showcase, the event served as a creative forum exploring the role of lighting in cinematic storytelling. Hosted by actress Sue Prado, the discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation, and education—core values shared by both Aputure and Hollyland in supporting and nurturing the next generation of Filipino visual storytellers.
