The charm of wedding cinematography came to life at our exclusive Hollyland Academy Premium session, “Capture the Moment: The Wedding Visionary,” held in the scenic town of Ayer Itam, Penang.

Led by Ting Wei Teoh, a Sony Alpha Professional Cinematographer, the full-day workshop provided aspiring and professional filmmakers with an immersive learning experience focused on the art and craft of wedding storytelling. From 10 AM to 5 PM, participants explored the world behind the lens – diving into techniques for capturing genuine emotion, lighting a wedding scene creatively, and using wireless transmission tools to streamline their on-site workflows.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice with professional gear and hear exclusive behind-the-scenes insights from one of the most creative minds in wedding cinematography. Ting Wei shared his experience working on high-end weddings, the importance of real-time monitoring using wireless systems, and how to stay nimble yet cinematic during live wedding events.

This session not only enriched technical knowledge but also inspired attendees to reimagine how love stories can be told through the lens with beauty, precision, and authenticity.
