Heirs Church and Hollyland worked together to test out the Solidcom SE Pros, Hollyland’s newest wireless intercom system
“Very comfortable, light, and could probably wear them for hours at a time. I really appreciate the fact that we are able to switch the headphones to either ear.” – Cynthia, Heirs Church
Recently, Hollyland had the pleasure of partnering with Heirs Church in San Francisco, a dynamic and growing faith community rooted in a deep commitment to spiritual transformation and community impact. Formerly known as Hillsong Church San Francisco, Heirs Church is now an independent congregation led by Pastors Brenden and Jacqui Brown, who announced the launch of the newly rebranded church on February 16, 2025, during a special service. The official launch of Heirs Church took place on March 30, 2025, marking a new chapter filled with vision, faith, and purpose.
In this exciting phase of growth and innovation, Heirs Church partnered with Hollyland to test the new Solidcom SE Pros, a state-of-the-art wireless intercom system designed to enhance communication across production and event teams. The collaboration allowed the church’s media and production teams to experience firsthand the reliability and clarity of the Solidcom SE Pros during live services and events, contributing to an even more seamless and engaging worship experience.
Heirs Church is known for its mission to help individuals discover their identity as heirs of God through Jesus Christ, and they strive to connect lives to an eternal inheritance through worship, teaching, and authentic community. Located at 401 13th Street in San Francisco, the church offers Sunday services, along with age-specific programs, community Connect Groups, and a variety of serving opportunities that invite people to grow in grace, faith, and spiritual maturity.
With a passionate leadership team and a clear, Christ-centered mission, Heirs Church continues to make a meaningful impact in the Bay Area—both spiritually and technologically—thanks in part to partnerships like this one with Hollyland.
Hollyland began conversations with Heirs Church back in 2024 through a mutual connection between the two organizations. After meetings and further conversations, Hollyland thought it would be a great idea to have Heirs Church test the newest addition to the intercom system line, the Solidcom SE Pros. By sending them the nine headset kit, Heirs was not set up with 8 remote headsets and one master headset to guide their team’s communications.
One of the areas where Heirs Church was looking for a solution was in communication when it came to live production for services, practices, and AV run-throughs. Many churches might experience the same issue, but for Heirs Church, their teams were using cell phones to ping each other for AV cues and signal certain camera movements. By using their cell phones, there were real-time delays in response and sometimes no response due to operators not hearing or feeling the vibrations during a service. This caused a lot of issues for their production teams, and internally, they wanted a solution for the team to effectively communicate in quiet and loud environments. Something that would provide their team multiple opportunities to communicate with their video village and integrate into their current system without causing issues.
Heirs Church has services every Sunday located in the busy city of San Francisco. With thousands of buildings in the areas and cell phones in the area, Heirs Church was in need of a system that would not just be clear in sound, but also stable in reliability whether outside or indoors.
“I loved that it made our team feel more connected. We’re not just off each doing our own thing, we’re a team working together and communicating better than ever.” – Nathan, Heirs Church
During the Sunday services and rehearsals throughout the week, Heirs Church did their best to push the Hollyland gear to their limits. One of the things Hollyland prides themselves on is how easy it is to use our gear and equipment. Right out of the box, the Solidcom SE Pro is ready. With Heirs Church, they were able to unpack the headsets just before rehearsals and jump right into communication with their team. The Solidcom SE Pros were designed with the idea to allow more users more efficient communication. The headsets can pair up to a maximum of 11 headsets, including one master headset to guide the 10 remote headsets. With over 1000+ feet of range LOS and reliable connection via the 1.9 Ghz. frequency, the Solidcom SE Pros have proven to be the best intercom system for any form of production. Including the Environmental Noise Reduction (ENR) technology, this intercom system provides clear and crisp audio with 20 dB of noise reduction, while also giving users access to listening to audio via the 3.5 mm aux port.
For Heirs Church, it seemed that their communication for front of house teams and other areas of production got lost amongst the external factors of services and worship. Nathan Canto had this to say when asked about how the Solidcom SE Pros impacted team efficiency, “(The Solidcom SE Pros) completely removed lapeses in communication. For example, when a link our broadcast was ready to go, when people should load the stage, FOH to side of stage communication all became as easy as saying it face to face.”
