Doublelift’s Retirement Home Tournament is an invitational event hosted by the legendary ADC himself, featuring four teams of retired pros, both former LCS stars and OG names from the pre‑LCS era, competing over two days for a $20,000 prize pool before the top two teams advanced to the finals. Doublelift put together this nostalgic tournament to honor his roots and the early days of League esports. It was streamed live on his Twitch channel and drew over 8 million total views across all streams.

The tournament was produced as a live broadcast similar to top-tier esports productions, using a mix of consumer and professional equipment. Nearly 20 production staff worked together throughout the event, with each player equipped with a Lyra webcam. The video feeds were captured via OBS/NDI for broadcast, while LARK A1 wireless microphones were deployed to capture player audio. The Lyra is plug-and-play for quick setup, while offering deep controls to adjust the finer details of each shot. The HollyStudio software gave the team full control over each player’s camera.

Fast Setup Across Multiple Player Stations
“Easy to start, plug and play. But deep set of tools to hone in.”
With multiple players appearing on stream simultaneously, the production team needed a webcam solution that could be deployed quickly. Lyra’s plug-and-play setup made it easy to integrate into the broadcast workflow.
No Receiver Needed, Direct LARK A1 Connection
With Lyra webcams and LARK A1 wireless microphones working together, the production team captured both player video and audio in a flexible setup. The cable-free LARK A1 setup gave players more freedom during gameplay and kept communication natural throughout the broadcast.
A Webcam Setup Built Around Esports Needs
“We needed a good webcam with a good software package. Hollyland has it.”
The production team needed a webcam that combined reliable image quality with practical control tools for a live, large-scale esports broadcast.

The Lyra webcam is well suited for professional esports broadcasts. Its compact design fits neatly on a desk, while the magnetic base sits securely on a laptop or monitor. The round foldable stand makes it easy to adjust the camera angle, and it also has a 1/4″ threaded hole for tripod mounting. Lyra captures sharp 4K video with natural-looking skin tones, even under challenging lighting. For more control, the HollyStudio software allows users to adjust advanced camera settings. With multiple Lyra webcams deployed across player desks, the production team could quickly set up each player’s camera feed.
