Mars 400S Pro Support

Mars 400s Pro support 1 transmitter connect up to 2 receivers,  there exists 2 signal bars on the screen of transmitter, the signal bar 2 will display “×” if you only connect one receiver, you can try to buy another receiver to realize 1 transmitter connected with 2 receivers.

  1. Long press the middle button of the receiver to enter the menu page for checking the status of channels(“√” indicates clean channel, “×” indicates interference channel).
  2. Click UP and DOWN buttons on the receiver to select a clean channel, then press the OK button to confirm.
  3. Please place the receiver at least 1.7m above the ground.
  4. Please ensure that the power supply is stable.

  1. Check the CAM HDMI output settings, the resolution should be set as 1080p/1080i; HDMI information Display should be OFF and HDMI control should be OFF.
  2. Check the HDMI cable, Please connect the CAM with the Monitor through the HDMI cable to check whether the output is correct or not.
  3. Please connect the transmitter to the computer through HDMI cable to check whether the transmitter could display the correct video format.

  1. Please check if you have used Type-C adapter to power the device, then please change to use DC/NPF battery to power if you have, because the charging current and voltage of Type-C adapter need over 5V 2A.
  2. Please try to restart the device.
  3. If the transmitter works fine, only the receiver displays”CH-“, please pair the transmitter and receiver.

Because our receiver didnt support decimal point frame output, it will automatically convert it into integer frame video ourput.

All Micro single/SLR camera, only one of  HDMI video output and camera’s screen display can be enabled  when you are recording 4K video because of the limitation of the camera itself. so you can try to set the shooting format as 1080.

But Photography/Video camera does not have this limitation, it supports HDMI video output and the camera’s screen display simultaneously.

If you insist to use Micro single/SLR camera recording 4k video and monitoring the shooting simultaneously, please connect Camera->ATOMOS Recorder->Transmitter.

Because of the video format of BMD SDI input support up to P59.94, please set the video format to 1080P50/i50 on the camera side.

Please do the camera HDMI settings as below:

  1. Change HDMI output format to 1080p/i (Not recording format).
  2. Set HDMI Information Display to “OFF”.
  3. Set HDMI Control to “OFF”.

Actually the HDMI input port 1 of ATEM mini only supports RGB mode and our device output is YUV format. That is why the image turns green, it’s a compatibility issue. But Port 2/3/4 of Atem could work fine.

Please keep the mobile phone at least 2m away from the transmitter.
