Meet Bagoes Tresna Adji
Bagoes Tresna Adji is a Jakarta-based Cinematographer, and also a Hollyland Master. Specializing in music videos and feature films, he is passionate about visual storytelling and enjoys collaborating with crews of all sizes to bring creative ideas to life.

Project Background
Recently, Bagoes worked on two productions with very different setups and requirements.
The first project was a commercial shoot at Doss Guava XR Studios in Jakarta, involving a crew of around 30 members. The second was a music video production filmed outdoors on the coast near Kronjo, Banten, with a smaller nine-person crew working under intense heat and challenging environmental conditions.
For both productions, Bagoes and his team relied on the Hollyland Pyro Ultra as their primary wireless video transmission system, paired with two receivers. They also incorporated the Pyro 7 and Pyro 5 as additional on-set monitors, creating a flexible and efficient monitoring workflow for teams of different scales and shooting environments.

How Does the Pyro Ecosystem Enhance the Workflow?
Broadcast Mode for Unlimited Receivers
“Thanks to the Broadcast Mode and unlimited RX, we can shoot much more comfortably. We don’t have to crowd around one spot or even need to use an app and the connection is also more stable.”
Powered by Hollyland’s TWiFi transmission technology, Pyro Ultra enables one transmitter to connect with unlimited receivers, delivering stable, fluid performance that feels effortlessly professional.

Real-Time Focus Pulling with 20ms Focus Mode
Pyro Ultra’s dedicated Focus Mode, with a claimed latency of just 20 ms, proved itself in real production environments.
“We tested it in the studio first, and everything worked perfectly,” said Bagoes. “I even asked my focus puller how it felt to use Pyro Ultra in Focus Mode and whether there were any issues with focus pulling. His answer was simple: ‘Not at all, sir. All good.’”
The ultra-low latency provided the responsiveness required for accurate, real-time focus adjustments, giving the crew greater confidence throughout the shoot.

Pyro Ecosystem for Effortless Production Workflow
Pyro Ultra is fully compatible with our Pyro lineup, which means as long as it’s called Pyro, they are all interconnected with one another. So for those of you who don’t have one transmitter, and there are only two receivers. If you have a Pyro 5 and a Pyro 7, you can use it. When the channels and groupings are the same, you can automatically connect to each other.
“With the new ecosystem this time, of course it makes my work process with the whole team more effective and more efficient.”

Wrapping Up
From a large-scale commercial production to a compact outdoor music video shoot, Pyro Ultra proved its ability to adapt to different teams, environments, and creative demands.
Backed by the entire Pyro ecosystem, it enables a scalable monitoring workflow that keeps productions running smoothly, regardless of size.
One transmitter. All Pyros. Unlimited receivers. This is Pyro Ultra.
