From creative collaborations to intimate moments of camaraderie, our content creators share their most memorable experiences of building bonds with the Hollyland.

Connections with Hollyland

Q: During this China tour, when did you feel the strongest connection with Hollyland? Why was that moment special?

A:

  • 刘承宪: When we created videos as a group. We talked to each other, filmed each other, and connected our minds and brains to make our ideas come true. That was a real connection.
  • Simon Cade: I think, for me, the strongest connection moment was in the middle of the creative day, when we were busy filming and kept bumping into the other groups. Just seeing everyone having a good time and using the Hollyland products made me feel very connected, like we were part of the same journey.
  • Chandra Timothy Liow: I have been in this industry as a content creator for about 15 years now, probably 16. I evolved from a small content creator to creating large-scale projects such as movies, commercials, and bigger videos where I used to gather hundreds of creators for one big video every year. I kind of felt that I missed the feel of just doing simple content creation, like vlogging, shooting where I am and what I’m doing, and sharing daily life. I really missed that. I think the idea of me vlogging with a camera, holding it to my face, is something I haven’t done for almost two years. And because of this Hollyland Brand Day, the feeling of having all these content creators gather here from many countries makes me feel like I’m back to where I used to be and what I used to do. I feel very, very happy because there was a moment when I didn’t think I enjoyed doing vlogs anymore. But since I got here, I think on the first or second day, I didn’t do it. Then I saw the environment here, taking content and making vlogs. I felt moved and wanted to do it again on the second and third days, and I’ve been doing it since. So I think that’s how I felt this experience was really special for me. Not just unforgettable, but I think I’m healed as a content creator who’s gone through a lot and suddenly got back to the root. So I think that’s something I would like to thank you, Hollyland, for.
  • Landon Bytheway: Probably, it wasn’t during WeConnect, but during the Hollyland MOMA event, like Hollyland’s birthday. Sitting at the table with the CEO and CTO of Hollyland and toasting each other. What do you say when you toast? Cheers. Ganbei. Ganbei. Ganbei, like, all around, about 20 times at the table. That’s probably when I felt closest to Hollyland, because I got to meet and talk to and get to know the people who made all of this possible.
  • Chrystopher William:  I think when we toured the HQ and I saw how many people collectively worked on getting us these projects and innovating the different stuff that you guys are producing, it made me appreciate the brand a lot more. So I think in that instance, it definitely made me feel connected.
  • Lutfie Abdullah: Okay, it’s really hard for me to describe which moment because I don’t know. I always believe that Hollyland people, everyone at Hollyland, know how to connect people. Not just in the WeConnect event. I don’t know, every moment I discuss or make interactions with people who work at Hollyland, they always know how to connect people. So, I don’t think there is one moment, but I think that the whole moment, the whole idea of WeConnect is always connecting us.
  • Galang Ganjar Kurniawa: When I met other creators from other countries, like making videos together and discussing.
  • Jairo Daniel Eslava Ariza: A unique experience sharing insights with other content creators from all over the world.
  • Kent Lamm: I might go with the drone show, too. Because we felt very special to be able to see it from there. And then to be able to go down and look at all the drones when they were resting felt like a very unique experience. And I was very grateful to Hollyland for inviting us to that.
  • Jeff Loch: I would say all of the non-official moments where you could just talk to the people from Holland that you’re used to knowing. And talking about their own personal vision of the company, how they see the company, how they see life. And all those private moments were the real connection moments.
  • BYUNGIL CHOI: The game in the hot pot restaurant.
  • Chieng Gong Zhi: In the Shenzhen office to see all Hollyland people.
  • Konstantin Ermakov: I think it’s, you know, the filming day the other day was incredible because it put us through our paces. I also think it’s towards the end of the day when I felt connected. I feel like it was towards the end of the days when I felt connected with the team because, you know, you see people working throughout the day and then at lunchtimes or dinner times we’ll gather, we’ll see people eat. So I think it’s during dinner we got to connect with the rest of the team.
  • Kirsty Wells: I’m going to say even before we got here. Just because we had the group chats going and everything was just organized so well. It was just clear that the staff cared about us from the beginning even though we were strangers. So immediately we felt welcomed and cared for, and obviously it felt even more so throughout the day and then meeting them, hanging out with them, having little jokes. I think it’s also you guys creating challenges for us to be able to connect with each other that really helped. And also explaining to us a couple of days before, like activities, this is what we’re doing, so we kind of knew what to expect and we weren’t left in the dark about what we’re doing. Very well organized.
  • Danielle: So we already had a connection with Hollyland before. But I think the moments when we could chat with each other and help. For me, the moment was in the skywalking. Because all the girls were really afraid to walk. And to have this challenge. And I helped all the girls to walk on the glass and also to walk in the sky. So it was really nice to participate in this challenge together with the girls. And to be like, “Let’s go. Let’s go,” to motivate the girls. And I think this felt like a connection because we were together embracing the fear. And also you have like a nice time.
  • Lucas:I agree 100%. It was really nice because they were so afraid. But at the same time, all of them had enough courage to go to the top and challenge themselves. Seeing the view with them and seeing them pass through that challenge was really nice. Exactly.
