Meet Austin Madrid and His Team
Austin Madrid and his team are a commercial production team working with crews of 2–20, depending on the project scope. They specialize in both highly stylized commercial work and documentary-style productions, adapting their approach to each brand and story.
“Our past clients include Cartoon Network, Meow Wolf, PBS, Manscaped, and others. In addition to branded work, we produce narrative projects including short films, music videos, and feature films. Our team often operates with lean, multi-hyphenate crews and prioritizes clear communication, efficiency, and strong visual storytelling across all productions,” Austin said.

Testing Background
The Solidcom SE Pro was primarily used during a short film production at Title Wave Books in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The project involved a crew of 25 and a cast of 8, with six crew members from the camera and grip & electric departments using Hollyland communication systems.
In addition, Austin included supporting photos showing other Hollyland headset systems in use on their commercial productions to illustrate how the products integrate across different project types and crew sizes.

How Hollyland Enhances the Production Workflow
The biggest pain point the headsets solved was the ability to communicate directly with specific departments without disrupting the rest of the set.
The system allowed them to operate quietly and smoothly. Without it, they would have been forced to shout across rooms, interrupt takes, or physically walk messages between crew members.
Hollyland headsets kept communication fast, discreet, and organized, which reduced confusion, saved time, and helped maintain focus during active production moments.
