Iconic Mall Tour

Day 3 began with the mall tour. We visited The MixC, one of Shenzhen’s largest shopping malls. This was a morning filled with exploration and immersion in the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic shopping haven.

Ancient City Excursion

Our next stop was Nantou Ancient City, a historical city with a history of nearly 1700 years. It served as the administrative center, coastal defense fortress, and a hub for maritime transportation and foreign trade in the Lingnan coastal region throughout various dynasties. The city has a profound and rich historical and cultural heritage.

Here, we participated in the making of shadow puppets! Shadow puppetry is an ancient traditional art form in China, where figures are cut out of animal hide or cardboard to perform stories. Under the guidance of a craftsman, we had a hands-on experience and created unique shadow puppet artworks, immersing ourselves in the joy of creation and the enchantment of art.

Continuing, we were treated to a breathtaking Sichuan Opera face-changing performance! Sichuan Opera face-changing, an astonishing skill within Sichuan Opera, involves actors rapidly changing their masks to depict different emotions and characters. We marveled at the magic of face-changing art and enjoyed this exhilarating performance.

After the show’s curtain call, we immersed ourselves in the delightful world of Guangdong-style afternoon tea. Exquisite dim sum indulged our taste buds, with each bite emanating an alluring sweetness.

Exuberant Celebration

As night fell, accompanied by captivating music, we enjoyed a sumptuous feast, celebrating the successful completion of the event. Upbeat melodies filled the air, evoking a sense of joy and making our spirits dance. Attendees and Hollyland’s staff gathered together, sharing their feelings about the event.
